Help Give Hope is dedicated to providing as many services, to as many families, as possible. We do this during the holiday season with our Christmas Project and with crisis help throughout the year. 100% of all gifts given go directly to the families we serve. We are not a professional fundraising organization and depend on the generosity of those interested in Help Give Hope to make our help to families possible. FURNITURE, APPLIANCES, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS—WE TAKE THEM!

In an effort to make our dollars go farther, Help Give Hope collects gently used items throughout the year. Beds and mattresses, appliances, clothing, anything you might sell in a garage sale we will take! Give us a call, 417-209-7027 and we will pick it up for you. We will provide you with the appropriate tax receipt and you will be helping families in our programs. We use these items to give to families at Christmas and for the Mike Russell and Friends Annual Garage Sale every Spring. This is a year-round effort. We are always available for pick ups.

MIKE RUSSELL AND FRIENDS ANNUAL GARAGE SALE FOR CHARITY

The Annual Mike Russell Garage Sale gives 100% of the sales proceeds to benefit Help Give Hope, one of Springfield’s largest children’s charities. In its ninth year, the garage sale is a culmination of donations collected year-long by the charity. What started in the garage of Mike Russell Automotive and raised $800 the first year has grown to raising over $19,000 last year. “We are just thrilled that the community has embraced and supported this event through the years,” stated Mike Russell, long-time friend and supporter of Help Give Hope. “Help Give Hope offers so much to needy families throughout the year that we are very happy to give back through our sale,” said Russell. This is a year-round effort. We are always available for pick ups.
