General Assistance

*Due to the upcoming Christmas Program, we will NOT be offering General Assistance until January 1, 2013.

Help Give Hope (HGH) offers assistance in many areas. Rental assistance, utility assistance, gas/grocery vouchers, bus passes are just a few of the ways we help. We offer gently used furniture in an emergency situation. Unexpected challenges happen to all of us and HGH is available to assist families, based on several criteria.

You will receive a response to your request within 48 hours of receipt of information.
No requests are granted “on the spot.” HGH does not give 100% of the request.

WHO QUALIFIES

  • Families must have custody of children under the age of 18 living in the home.
  • Families with children/adults with disabilities over the age of 18, must have full parental guardianship.
  • Families must live in Greene, Christian or Webster county.
